Player Registration
All players must be registered to ensure they participate in a safe and supported environment. By becoming a registered member, players, organisers, and schools gain access to insurance coverage, which is crucial in mitigating risks associated with injuries or incidents during competitions. This coverage ensures that medical expenses and liability concerns are adequately addressed. Furthermore, membership with Hockey Queensland brings the enforcement of the National Integrity Framework, which upholds standards of conduct and ethical guidelines, significantly reducing the risk of inappropriate behaviours.
All unregistered players must register via the BHA Website - see the link below. However, players who are already registered and playing with a club in Brisbane or Ipswich are not required to register again.
