Champion Club - Junior Competition
The Stan Griffin Shield was first introduced in the 1970 Season for Junior Divisions. Presented here are two excerpts from the BJHA Hon Secretary's report from the 1970 BHA Annual Reports. The Hon Secretary of BJHA in 1970 was Stan Griffin.
"In a photo finish, which depended on the final day of Junior Fixtures, Valley took the lead to win the Championship Shield."
"The executive named the Club Championship Shield , 'The Stan Griffin Trophy', and I am indeed honoured to have the Trophy bear my name."
