Champion Team - Junior Competition
The Col & Hec Cormie Shield was first introduced as the Cormie Shield for the 1964 Season for Junior Divisions. It is presented to the Team with the highest aggregate of points. The 1964 BHA Annual Report reads:
"The Cormie Shield, presented to the Junior team with the most number of points gained during the Season, was won by Valley J1 with 32 points, just beating St. Andrews J5 with the same number of points, but not as good a goal average."
This Shield has often been referred to as the Cormie Shield and the Hec Cormie Shield, however the Shield itself has Col & Hec Cormie Shield engraved upon it..
The Col & Hec Cormie Shield winners were never kept as a list by BHA. In 2018 Kim Rendell searched through the BHA Annual Reports to obtain each year's winner and compile the list above. The above list was added to the 2018 BHA Annual Report.
1966 saw the formation of the Brisbane Junior Hockey Association or BJHA.
The winning team was not listed in the 1978 BJHA Report.
