A player must be a minimum age of 35 as at 31st December of the year before to play in any BHA Masters Competition with specific age restrictions for each MHL division as outlined below:

MHL 1 – 35 years or older;

MHL 2 – only 3 players 35-39 years old, no other players under 40 years old;

MHL 3 – only 3 players 40-45 years old, no other players under 45 years old;

MHL 4 – only 3 players 45-50 years old, no other players under 50 years old;

MHL 5 – only 3 players 45-50 years old, no other players under 50 years old.
