About this Website

Once again Brisbane Hockey Association (BHA) is playing host to the Hockey Queensland Men's Premier League and State Open Championships being held at Hockey Queensland's State Hockey Centre, Colmslie, Brisbane. The pages of this Website in effect provide an online version of the Official Program.

Brisbane Hockey Association believes that this site will be popular with players, their families, Association Officials and Supporters throughout Queensland. During the weekend the results will be sourced directly from the respective Tournament Directors (TD's). Results will be updated accordingly and as soon as possible - hopefully within minutes of the conclusion of each match.

A Championships Website?

BHA believes that a site such as this should be initiated each year for each of the State Championships, not just for PL & SO. As such each host centre would be given access to provide updates to the Website for the duration of the respective tournament. Such a site would have a simple address such as a sub-domain of HQ's or such as www.qldhockeychamps.org.au or something similar?

The site you are currently visiting is designed and maintained by Kim Rendell, BHA General Secretary. It only displays information relative to the Men's Tournaments by way of example. Kim Rendell would be willing to assist with the setting up of a Website along these lines for all State Championships, male and female, if supported by HQ and the Hockey Associations of Queensland.

The goal? - a Championship Website for the Hockey Players of Queensland!
