Umpiring & Rules
Umpires!
Your Sport Needs You!
All Umpires are asked to attend the Umpires Committee Meetings which are to be scheduled regularly throughout the Season. Meeting details will be posted under Committee Meetings (menu on left) when available. Your Association requires the attendance of all qualified Umpires, and in particular those who were 2006 and 2007 BHA registered Umpires at these meeting. Umpiring newcomers to Brisbane and anyone who else who may be unqualified at present but who is interested in gaining a badge, should also attend.

It is important that an Umpires' Committee be maintained, similar to that which has existed in the past. A strong and committed Umpires' Committee has been an integral part of our sport in the past. We need to get back there. The continuation of an Umpire's Committee will provide a voice within the Association and provide for the recognition of the needs and development of Umpires. The BHA Board is keen to have an effective group representing Umpires.

Come along and be a part of your Committee and support your fellow Umpires. Help the BHA Board and the Clubs to recognise and develop Umpiring within your Association.

If you have any questions about umpiring or would like to get involved at any level then please feel free to drop the Secretary a quick note at umpires@bha.org.au

For notices and details of meetings please refer to Committee Meetings on the side-menu.
