Two goals in two minutes either side of the halftime break set University of Queensland on the path to a come-from-behind upset victory over competition leaders Commercial. Goals to Jake Burns and Kye Hawgood had Commercial up 2-0 at Burringbar Park, before Aidan Rintala and Oliver Crane scored immediately before and after halftime, to tie the scores. University’s Drew Wenzel slotted the go-ahead goal with 12 minutes remaining, before a last-minute Joel Rintala score sealed University’s 4-2 win - the students’ first victory over the Cobras since 2009.

Justin Douglas’ goal with 10 minutes left saw Bulimba go ahead 4-2, before Jacob Webber scored late on for Easts.
Kedron-Wavell has won back-to-back games for the first time since the club’s re-entry to Division 1 in 2013, coming from behind to defeat Norths at Burringbar Park. Norths took a 2-0 lead into the halftime break after Dan Fletcher and new signing, Australian Country captain Chris Mantell, scored within two minutes of each other. Joel Ackermann halved the margin for Kedron-Wavell, before the Wolves hit the front with two goals in the last 10 minutes of the game. Both goals, to Jacob Jennison and Corey Cox, came from penalty corner set plays instigated by Ed Hamill.
Pine Rivers St Andrews is just three points off the competition lead after beating Redcliffe Leagues 6-0 for the second straight match.
