Players Needed Urgently - Senior Grass

Seven teams originally were nominated for Classic Hockey League (CHL) grass competition for 2011. Unfortunately some weeks ago, two teams (Qld Pol and Uni of Qld) were withdrawn leaving only five teams in the competition. It would be likely that there would be several interested players from the two Clubs who withdrew their teams, other Clubs who are not currently represented in CHL may also have players interested in the Saturday afternoon competition.

The Association wishes to canvas all Players for interest in forming a composite Barbarians team that would compete in the CHL competition. The following Clubs who until recently had teams competing in CHL - Bulimba, Easts, Pine Hills, Uni, and Police - are likely to have at least one or two players who would be interested. Players already registered and playing in the Masters competition may also be interested in playing another match on the weekend for no additional charge. Younger players are more than welcome also - it's not only for "oldies" - it's for everyone!

Players interested in forming a composite team for 2011 should contact the BHA Office to register their interest and to provide their contact details. The competition is set to be played at Finsbury Park, Newmarket.

It is never too late! If a team can be formed even after the Fixures
commence then it can be easily integrated into the Competition.

CHL is about "having a run " on Saturday afternoons.

CHL is about having fun on the field and socialising afterwards.

Hurry! The Competition is due to commence the first week of April.
