BHA Competitions

Brisbane Hockey Association manages competitions targeted at various age groups - Seniors, Juniors and Masters. After the creation and ratification of each of the Competitions Draws they will be accessible via the side menu.

Starting Dates 2011

Each of the Competitions are set to commence as follows:

• BHL Competitions: 19 Mar 2011 (one of the lower Div's may start a week earlier)
• CHL Competition: tba
• Junior Boys' Competitions:
  • J1 - Fri 1 Apr 2011
  • Under 11, Under 13 & other J's - Sat 2 Apr 2011
  • Under 7 & Under 9 - Fri 29 Apr 2011
• Masters Competitions: Tue 8 Mar 2011

The Grand Final dates: tba

BHL1 Match Reports

Links to BHL1 Match reports will appear in this section throughout 2011 under 'Brisbane Hockey League'. This initiative is spearheaded by Lee Oliver with assistance from volunteers, journalism students and hockey players. These reports also contain photos. There is also a page of links to Hockey related content in the online Press.

TV Coverage

BHA and BWHA have again signed up for selected BHA and BWHA Division 1 matches to be recorded and broadcast on 31 the Queensland Community Television (QCTV) network (formerly Briz31) throughout the 2011 Season.

Umpiring Matters

The Umpiring Committee will again maintain their own pages under this section. These will include updates to rules and interpretations, news, and development information. The Umpiring Roster will most likely appear here also.
