Creating Simple Draws

Do you have a need to run a small round robin event? It could be for any sport?

These spreadsheets are provided as is and were created by Kim Rendell as a convenient means for the creation of simple draws. They do not represent any system currently employed by BHA for the production of its Fixtures. Visitors are welcome to enter their own data in the "Competing Teams" and "Home Venues" cells and to copy and paste the results into their own documents for their own use.

Please keep in mind that these are extremely simple spreadsheets. When you change a team name or venue in the top section it will simply change the equivalent fields in the bottom section. When you are happy with it you copy and paste each of the two bottom series, separately, one under the other into a separate document (spreadsheet or word processor) of your own. It's important not to alter the references in the bottom section of the draw spreadsheets.

These spreadsheets are hosted online in EditGrid. They will automatically reset all values after you leave the page. This means that they can be used over and over. You are welcome to forward the links to these to anyone who may find them useful. Just remember, there's nothing sophisticated in these. The underlying grid or series is fixed but could easily be altered by anyone with a basic knowledge of such grids. In any case these spreadsheets will allow users to create simple competitions or even the draws for the pools of more complex competitions whenever the need arises.
