Your Sport Needs You!

All Umpires are asked to attend the Umpires Committee Meetings which it is hoped will be scheduled regularly throughout the 2009 Season. Meeting details will be posted in the Committee Meetings section when available - see menu to the left of this page. Your Association requires the attendance of all qualified Umpires, and in particular those who registered in recent years at these meetings. Umpiring newcomers to Brisbane and anyone else who may be unqualified at present but who is interested in gaining a badge, should also attend.

It is important that an Umpires' Committee be formed and maintained, similar to that which has existed in the past. A strong and committed Umpires' Committee has been an integral part of our sport in the past and our sport needs one again. An Umpire's Committee will provide a voice within your Association and provide for the recognition of the needs and development of Umpires. The BHA Board is determined to have an effective group representing Umpires in 2009 and beyond.

Come along and be a part of your Committee and support your fellow Umpires. Help the BHA Board and the Clubs to recognise and develop Umpiring within your Association.

Application Form

In order to appear on the official Umpire roster and to receive payments, all Umpires are required to submit an Application Form.
