Re-scheduled Meeting
The next BHA General Committee Meeting (GCM) has been re-scheduled to a week later, i.e. Monday 2nd February 2009 at the SHC, Colmslie. The meeting will commence at 7:30pm in the Players' Room beside the BHA Office. As always, the dates, times, venues and other details of Association meetings are continuously published on the BHA Website.
Competitions
The BHA Director of Competitions has advised the likely starting date for Senior (BHL) Fixtures as Saturday, 28th March 2009. The Chair of the Junior Committee believes that the Junior competitions are likely to commence on 4th April 2009, while the Veterans Committee are still considering a starting date for the Veterans (VHL) competitions.
With respect to the grass (CHL) Fixtures, the situation is less clear at this stage. Clubs wishing to put their fields forward for consideration/inspection for CHL matches in 2009 are invited to do so asap. Decisions on a start date and whether CHL returns to a "central venue" or is "rotated" as it was last year, will be made as the situation and make-up of this competition becomes clearer.
Budget & Fee Schedule
At last night's BHA Board Meeting the Treasurer released the proposed Budget and Fee Schedule that are to be presented to the GCM of 2nd February. Please refer to the supporting document PDF file links under the General Committee Meeting notice on this Website.
Points Cap
Over the next few days, each of the BHL1 Clubs will receive relevant documents via email. These documents will require responses in order for the Association to establish the current totals for each Club. The members of the Points Cap Committee will be advised very soon and an initial meeting will be called to formalise its role.
Club Officials
All Clubs are reminded of the need to keep the contact details for their Presidents, Secretaries and Meeting Delegates up to date with the Association.
