BHA AGM

At last night's BHA AGM, Greg Swann was appointed BHA President for 2009. All Board members from 2008 renominated and were also appointed by the meeting. A further nomination was also received from Daryl Sahli. Daryl previously served on the Board in 2006 and 2007. His appointment was also confirmed.

The BHA Board of Management for 2009 is:

President - Greg Swann
Treasurer - Paul Saunders
Director - Peter Harten
Director - Phyllis Hawgood
Director - Jacqui Brodin
Director - Russell Marsden
Director - Anthony Kenny
Director - Daryl Sahli

Congratulations to all!

However, there remains two vacancies on the BHA Board of Management. Anyone seeking further details and information regarding a nomination for a position on the Board should contact the BHA President, Greg Swann, on 0419 026 096 asap.

Thanks go to Commercial HC for the use of their Clubhouse for the meeting.

HQ Awards
Congratulations go to Greg Swann for being awarded Hockey Queensland Manager of the Year at last Friday night's Hockey Queensland Awards Dinner. Well done Greg!

BHA's nomination of Lee Oliver for the Hockey Queensland Volunteer of the Year Award was unfortunately unsuccessful. Hard luck, Lee! We still believe you deserved it.

Unfortunately BHA's nomination of Peter Dillon for the Hockey Queensland Rookie Award was also unsuccessful. Dillon won the BHA Rookie of the Year Award back in August.

Further details of nominees and winners should be listed on the HQ Website - www.hockeyqld.com.au - if not, contact them by email - office@hockeyqld.com.au - and ask!
