Judiciary Outcomes
For some years BHA Judiciary Committee Hearing outcomes have been published on the BHA Website. It is thought that by doing so, players, officials and supporters can gain a better understanding of the consequences of unacceptable behaviour. Players' and officials' names and the names of the Clubs involved in each Hearing have been removed. The selection of outcomes listed here span several years. Click on a heading to read more . . .

08/3 Red Card - R3 Dissent/Abuse

Posted by Administrator (admin) on 05 Sep 2008
Judiciary Outcomes >>

While leaving the field after having been temporarily suspended (Yellow Card) by a Match Umpire, a Player threw his stick into the Dugout. His temporary suspension was then upgraded to ten (10) minutes by the same Umpire. Then while suspended the Player directed a derogatory remark at the Umpire. The Umpire then issued the Player with a permanent suspension (Red Card).

The player pleaded guilty and was given a Sentence of three (3) weeks suspension with one week to be served and two (2) weeks to be held in suspension until the end of the year.
