Judiciary Outcomes

For some years BHA Judiciary Committee Hearing outcomes have been published on the BHA Website. It is thought that by doing so, players, officials and supporters can gain a better understanding of the consequences of unacceptable behaviour. The Committee dealt with a player who had been suspended for dissent. The player had said to an opposing player "At least you're honest" but the Committee was satisfied that while the comment was ostensively directed to an opposing player it was intended by the player to be heard by the Umpire and to be taken as a reflection on the Umpire's honesty. Such comments cannot be tolerated.

The player is suspended for two (2) weeks, i.e. both Veterans and BHL/CHL Divisions.
