Design & Maintenance
The Brisbane Hockey Association (BHA) Website is been designed, created and maintained by the BHA General Secretary, Kim Rendell.  The Brisbane Junior Hockey Association (BJHA) Website is maintained by June Grant.

Software
In order to create this Website many software packages are used to varying degrees.  All have been purchased either by BHA or by an individual staff member, with the exception of those that are FREE !  Click on a logo to go to that software company's Website.  Often you can download a trial version or purchase at reduced rates directly from the company via the Internet.

• Namo WebEditor - used to create and maintain the BHA/BJHA Website/s. Originating in Korea this product has all of the tools required to maintain a site such as this. Cost - AU$180 - much cheaper when purchased via the Web
• OpenOffice.org - used within the BHA Office to open and create all forms of Microsoft Office compatible documents. BHA does not require MSOffice.  Also used to create ".pdf" versions of documents. Click here for more info!  Cost - AU$FREE  OpenOffice.org (OOo) can be downloaded from the Web or sourced from the BHA Office
• PaintShop Pro - used to edit many of the graphics (mostly .jpg & .gif) used within the Website. Older FREE versions are also available.  Latest version cost - AU$220 approx - much cheaper when purchased via the Web
• 602Pro Print Pack - used to create ".gif" versions of wordprocessor and other documents in order to publish and distribute them via the Internet.  Nomination forms, meeting notices, etc are all processed for the BHA Website using this excellent product. The Print Pack also produces ".pdf" files and the latest version will also convert documents to other graphics formats. Cost - US$15 - purchase via the Internet
• SWisHmax - used to create the occassional 'flash' animated graphic. SWisH is an Australian company. Cost - US$50  (SWisHlite - US$20) - these products can be purchased via the Internet in Australian dollars from Sydney.

Of course other general utilities are used such as WinZip, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.

Office Network & Internet
The office network is based on MS Windows networking and ADSL Internet access is provided via ByteSite at a partially sponsored rate.  This Website is located on the ByteSite WWW Server.  All hockey players and supporters are encouraged to check out ByteSite's rates when considering which ISP to sign up with.
